My blog may be all about food, but I can’t help but think about the food you feed your brain, too!

I meditate.

Sometimes, I’ll do it every day.

Sometimes, it’s every once in awhile.

Meditation is a great way to help quiet your mind, and many times, helps cleanse and clear it.

The mind is a powerful thing

So I thought I would share some of my favorite meditations on YouTube  with you.

If you’ve never tried it before, I recommend taking this time to either sit in a comfortable chair or lie down in bed, close your eyes and become mindful of what the voice in the meditation is saying.

Cleansing and quieting your mind can help increase the volume on your inner voice, too.

And boost that positive energy too! 🙂

My go to on YouTube is username TheHonestGuys. They have a slew of meditations to choose from.

Another thing I have learned about are chakras. You have 7 chakras throughout your body and they all pertain to different emotions and feelings. If they’re unbalanced, you basically don’t feel as great as you normally do. Learn more about them here.

This is an amazing meditation, by a different person than the other videos, to help balance out all of those chakras :

If you don’t have time to do any of these, another method to meditate can be to just find calming music, disconnect from everything and take 5-10 minutes to do slow, circular breathing.

This all is just a sampling of what you can do to meditate, but if you go on YouTube and type in “powerful meditations” you’re going to find a lot of great stuff.

Honestly , you won’t like them all. You have to find ones that work best for you, so if these don’t work for instance , try out different ones!
